GUU freestyle
Went up to the GUU tonight for the freestyle to dance with a friend I hadn’t seen for a while.
We were upstairs in the skating rink again – not as bad as it was on Saturday night, but still remarkably slippy. Manageable though.
Music was good tonight – an improvement since last week in my mind, and I wasn’t the only person who thought so. I overhead someone on their way out saying something similar. There were still plenty of the regular favourite tunes, so it’s hard to actually say what made the difference.
One big difference from last week was the presence of a few of my very favourite dancers. Got loads of dances with the friend I went to see, including another great Tango de Roxanne. Liking that tune! 
When not dancing with the the dancers I am most familiar with, I can’t say I was feeling especially inspired, but that just meant I had spare for my favourites!
Not a bad night of dancing at all. Well worth putting the coat on for.
